Competition: The act of competing; rivalry for supremacy, a prize, etc. Practically speaking we are all competitive whether it is for strength, wealth, fame, knowledge, beauty and even renunciation. These are expressed in the Sanskrit word ‘bhaga’, which fully dwell in the Supreme Soul whether you envision that as a personal or impersonal force. So Bhagavan would imply God capitalized indicating the Supreme Person, whereas bhagavan, un capitalized, could represent an impersonal god or supreme energetic force which is not understandable or identifiable. These six categories set the stage for the daily news and therefore are very important for us to recognize. We are presently in a war so immense that the whole world is on edge whether it will end soon or escalate unimaginably? Generally in competition there are rules to abide by to decide which side is the winner. However warfare has developed over time in 5 stages: 1st) Manpower (2nd) Firepower (3rd) Maneuver (4th) Insurgency, and Non-contact/Information (5th) often described as hybrid warfare, cyber warfare, and perception management. Unfortunately we (I dare not say humanity) have evolved or devolved where there are no accepted rules at this extreme level of competition over philosophy, resources, and autonomy. Where we go from here is anybody’s guess and as the saying goes, “hope is not a strategy, it is only an emotion..” Our project, Share Bliss, has the goal of as many of us as possible joining together consciously to meditate and proactively engage with one another lovingly and peacefully, to put the direction of our global society on an upward path ensuring joyful future generations…
