Fluid: (adjective) Changing readily; shifting; not fixed, stable, or rigid. 71% of our planet is covered by water. The human body is composed of approximately 50% to 60% water on average with infants the highest between 70%-75% and dropping as we age. To remain healthy we require about 3 liters of water daily and without we can only live about 3 to 4 days. Bruce Lee, the most profound martial artist, wisely advised, “be like water.” We have heard the saying, “water wears away the stones.” Relaxing during a fall (becoming fluid) is often called the “ragdoll effect”, and helps minimize serious injury by allowing the body to absorb impact rather than resisting it. Unfortunately, our globe is experiencing perhaps the highest tension for those of us born after 1945. We are presently in World War 2.9 as we are on the edge of the Middle East confrontation going nuclear and becoming WW3! Wars continue until there is surrender, a diplomatic settlement, or an armistice and a cessation of fighting. The longer this rigidity and tension continues and global energy and food supplies are substantially compromised, the pain will spread exponentially. The repercussions from WW2.9 is already affecting supply chains and production and is exacerbating daily. Hopefully, this extreme tension will get relaxed with either surrender, diplomacy, or an armistice and we can all become more fluid, like water and reduce our mutual suffering.
