So what is Veda trying to do with this website? I’m trying to give the impetus for my friends, not looking for students, followers or heaven forbid ‘disciples’, to become more conscious of their precious life. Aloha simply means the breath of life and that is created and maintained through education: “the act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgment, and generally preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life.” What do we repeatedly hear children say; why, what and where? Questioning, this is the Socratic method magnified by Socrates himself that in this human form ones responsibility is to inquire or question. This imperative is on us personally, we have to daily make choices and decisions which will affect us and the people and environment around us. We have to own those decisions as no one is more responsible than us for the path we choose. As kids we had a saying, “self help, help yourself!” Fortunately i took those words to heart and have found them to be a good road map for life…Oh, and by the way, you are my friend if you will take your valuable time to read my AlohaDailyDose as i share with you a path which has given me a certain degree of self-satisfaction…
