Fallacy: A deceptive, misleading, or false notion, belief, etc. According to Hindu philosophy we humans are inculcated with four principle fallacies: We are prone to make mistakes, we are subject to illusion, we have a tendency to cheat, and we have imperfect senses. In Sanskrit: Bhrama, Pramada, Vipralipsa, and Karanapatava. So, in essence, we are imperfect beings and the sooner we figure this out the better off we will be. The marketers of success and get rich quick schemes love to promote that ‘Impossible’, is a word only in a fool’s dictionary and that you can do and accomplish anything that you set your mind to! Unfortunately, we are witnessing in real time, a person who has survived six bankruptcies, several assassination attempts, two impeachments, and recent polls showing more than 50% of the public against his present war of aggression. This person is obviously under the illusion that they are invincible and whether right or wrong is right anyway. Well, I guess we will all find out in the next few days if this person is transcendental to the four Hindu fallacies and can prove ‘Bombs away Lemay’, correct that it is possible to bomb a civilization into oblivion…
