‘Self-help, help yourself!’, was our first mantra (man means mind, while tra means release) at age 10 in 1960, worked then and stayed with me. Humans cannot live without faith as otherwise we couldn’t even carry on our lives without trusting the sun and moon, wind and rain, land and seas to provide us with nourishment we cooperate with together to sustain ourselves. Reason and science has given humanity the means for literally billions the opportunity to fulfill their own reach for the stars and attain some degree of satisfaction enduring the human experience. Since August 1945 when our sovereigns had the means to destroy some or all of humanity we have had to come to terms with our own faith and reason. Do we put our absolute faith in science or maintain a pinch of skepticism and question vaccines created at warp speed? Do we reasonably believe that there are approximately 4,000 monotheistic views of reality that can all be right? I don’t know or even presume to have these answers, but beckoning you to seriously consider where we are in the annals of history and what we can do individually to ameliorate the situation…
